Internship Audit – Financial Services (all genders)

• As an intern, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of accounting and valuation issues, providing support for audits of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with the German Commerical Code (HGB) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for companies in the financial services sector, in particular banks and credit institutions.
• You will also be given the opportunity to assist with special audits, e.g. audits on behalf of BaFin, as well as internal audits and audit-related consulting projects.
• Depending on your expectations, we can discuss which team would be the best fit for you based on your interests and strengths.
• You will be actively involved in the mandate and project work as a fully integrated team member from the beginning, gaining insights into the daily operations of an auditing and consulting firm and making valuable connections for your professional network.
• As part of your responsibilities, you will be also preparing and creating supporting documents and presentations.

• Currently studying economics (from the second semester), preferably specialising in auditing, tax, accounting and/or finance
• Ideally, you have already gained initial experience through relevant internships or previous banking training
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to familiarise yourself with complex topics and projects
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Availability for at least 3 months
